Requirements for Entering the Campus

For Students & Employees

All students and employees who access college facilities will need to show proof of vaccination or a weekly negative COVID-19 test result with an approved exemption. Masking is required indoors, regardless of vaccination status.

Please follow this two-step check-in process every day you enter campus/district facilities:

  1. Before entry, complete your Cleared4 self-check questionnaire each day you come to campus. (Check your campus email for your private Cleared4 account link.)
     
  2. Once on campus, scan your QR code at a campus scanning station. Learn how to show your QR code at a campus scanning station.

    NOTE: Scanning stations are currently installed in ACA, AHS, ART, FRC, CDC, LARC, SSC, and SSA buildings (view campus map) and additional locations will be deployed soon.

All visitors are required to complete the COVID-19 Symptom Self-Check each day before accessing campus facilities.


Vaccination & Testing Requirements for Students & Employees

For the The Los Angeles Community College District has established a new COVID-19 Vaccination & Testing requirements for students and employees to be able to access college and District facilities.


COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics

LAVC is hosting free COVID-10 Vaccination Clinics on-Campus to allow you to get your first and second dose, or third dose or the booster shot (if eligible). Plus, LAVC students and employees can receive a $150 gift card to the LAVC Bookstore for each dose received on campus.

Upcoming vaccination clinic will be held on:

  • January 19 from 10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. in Parking Lot A
  • January 20, 27 & February 3 from 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. in Parking Lot A.

Walk-Ins are welcome, or you can make an appointment or pre-register with Fulgent Genetics. Learn what to bring with you to your vaccination.


COVID-19 Testing

Students and employees can get free COVID-19 PCR testing (by appointment only) through Biocept, the district's new vendor for COVID-19 Testing and Screening operations.

Vaccination Exemption Requests

Students and employees can submit a request for a medical or religious vaccination exemption to the District using the COVID-19 Vaccination Exemption Request Form. Learn more about how to submit a vaccination exemption.
