Life gets busy, and as a result, sometimes education gets put on hold. Adult Education at LAVC is here to help you through every step, no matter where you are on your college journey. We're pleased to offer classes to the community that help students learn, grow, and complete academic and personal goals. For example, noncredit courses can help enhance skills for a better job/career, improve English speaking/writing skills, earn a high school equivalency, complete noncredit certificates, explore careers, build a record on your college transcript, and more.

Adult Education / noncredit courses are:

    • Free of charge
    • Open-entry, open-exit, which means you can add or drop a course at any point while it is active
    • Graded using a Pass or No Pass scale (P/NP)
    • Can be taken as often as you'd like
    • Scheduled flexibly--in-person, online, asynchronously, online via Zoom, or as a hybrid class

Take a look below at the programs we are currently offering and feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions and/or need assistance.
