Final Update

7/29/2025, 10:25 AM

We have good news! The damaged pipe in our underground utility tunnel has been repaired, and our campus HVAC system is now fully operational. As planned, all classes and Campus Center services that were temporarily relocated will return to their original locations starting Wednesday, July 30, 2025

Thank you for your continued patience as we worked diligently to resolve this issue

Update #5

7/25/25, 5:13 PM

The pipe that supplies chilled water on campus broke again in the utility tunnel under the campus. Fortunately, the water alarms installed following the July 11, 2025 incident alerted us immediately, allowing us to respond quickly. As a result, the flooding was minimal, and there is no damage or impact to the Campus Center basement.

The pipe is scheduled to be repaired tomorrow morning. Until the repair is completed and system performance is confirmed, the HVAC systems in the affected buildings will be offline.

  • Art
  • Behavioral Science
