Transcript Evaluation Request
Official transcripts from each college/university previously attended, including Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Examination Program (CLEP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and military credit, must be on file with the LAVC Admissions & Records Office before submitting a Transcript Evaluation Request.
Please note: If your transcripts are not received at the LAVC Admissions and Records Office, your request for transcript evaluation cannot be completed.
Transcript evaluations may take 4-6 weeks to complete. To meet enrollment, graduation, transfer and other application deadlines, submit your request within the stated timeline.
Step 1: Use Parchment to request and send your official transcripts from all non-LACCD colleges/universities previously attended or College Board transcripts to the LAVC Admissions & Records Office. Please note that it may take 2-3 weeks for LAVC to receive and process your transcripts.
Step 2: Complete and submit the Transcript Evaluation Request.
Once your transcript evaluation is completed, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment for one of the options below to:
-
Review the evaluation results and create a Student Educational Plan (SEP).
-
Complete pre-graduation evaluation and submit a Graduation Petition.
