"LAUNCH 19" Student Art Exhibition

The LAVC Art Gallery proudly presents its annual exhibition of student work in the LAVC Art Department titled LAUNCH19 from May 22-30, 2019.

LAUNCH19 includes 57 works selected from student entries by this year’s juror, Deb Klowden-Mann, a Los Angeles art dealer. The exhibition features a wide range of media and technique, for many students in the exhibition this is their first opportunity to have their work recognized on a professional platform.

Works by the following students are featured in the LAUNCH19 exhibit: Nathalie Acebes, Brianna Aguilera, Tyler Cendejas Alfaro, Maryam Aliziloubaf, Nshan Arakeiuan, Mare Arakelyan, Crystal Aquino, Camille Asensi, Wanda Bryant, Lisa Butters-Smith, Artur Charkhchyan, Colin Crawford, Nereyda Garcia, Richard Giesbert, Cathy Green, Sabrina Ochoa, Eva Hernandez, Trish Hosein, Micah Javier, Isabel Jimenez, Nuengkanlaya Ladawan na ayudhya, Gabriella Leone, Asha Lewis, Noemi Lombardo, Charles Lontoc, Maria Fernanda Rivera Lopez, Jennifer Marenco, Marilin Martin, Jhulia Loren Belle Minoza, Channing Moore, Tatiana Nikiforoua, Brian Patton, Alyssa Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, Aksana Sadavodava, Luis R. The LAVC Art Gallery is holding an artist reception its annual student exhibition titled LAUNCH19 on Wednesday, May 22 from 6-8 p.m. in the LAVC Art Gallery in the Art Building. Faculty Choice awards and a Juror's Award will be announced at the reception.

The LAUNCH19 exhibition is on display at the LAVC Art Gallery in the Art building. View campus map. The Art Gallery's regular Spring 2019 hours are Monday and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. The Art Gallery is also open by appointment. The LAVC Art gallery is closed on holidays, when the campus is closed, when classes are not in session, and during the Winter and Summer sessions. 

Admission to the LAVC Art Gallery is free, and the exhibition is open to the public.

Parking: Guest should park in Parking Structure – 2-4 Floors. Parking permits are required at all times. Daily Parking permits for student parking spots can be purchased at an LAVC parking pay station. View campus map
