Monica Flores serves as the Student Life Counselor at LAVC, where she provides academic, personal, and transfer counseling to students. As the Associated Student Union (ASU) Advisor, she guides LAVC student leaders in event planning, conferences, and workshops. Monica also supports the Inter-Club Council (ICC), which oversees all campus clubs.

Before joining Valley College, Monica worked as a Coordinator for a Title V grant at an LAUSD high school. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master's Degree in Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne.

One of the benefits for students who have paid their $10 ASU membership fee is access to Monica's counseling services. To book an appointment with Monica, visit Cranium Café. She is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
