Self-exploration is a process of understanding your personality, interests, values, skills, and abilities. Understanding these components of yourself allows you to reflect on what major/career is a good fit for you.

Learn more about LAVC Career and Academic Pathways (CAPS). Explore majors that are a good fit for you.
What can you do with your major? Learn more about careers you can pursue with different majors and degrees.
Interested in transferring to a four-year university? Learn about your transfer options and how LAVC can help get there.
Once you know your major and have a good idea on your transfer options, meet with a counselor to create a Comprehensive Student Educational Plan to map out your classes.
