Training Director Recieving Certificate

Welcome to Los Angeles Valley College Workforce Development, the department that works directly with community and industry partners to create pathways to employment and career advancement for those Workforce Training serves.

Current high placement Workforce academies include: Bus Operations Training Academy, Manufacturing, Biotech, Human Services, and Professional Extension offerings. The department also works to create customized training as needed by community and employer partners.

Believing in a holistic approach, we partner with the LAVC Family Resource Center and CalWORKS program to embed family support services and resources (Strengthening Working Families) into all of the offerings.

Striving through partnerships to make Los Angeles Valley College Workforce Training a model of Workforce Development excellence, we are continually working to create a college and community-wide integrated service delivery system of training, and educational and employment services to open career pathways and economic success for all community members.

Please see each of our specific pages dedicated to the academies and related programs for more information.
