May 23 is the Voter Registration Deadline for the CA Primary Election

All California active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the June 7, 2022, Primary Election. The last day to register to vote for the June 7, 2022, Primary Election is May 23, 2022. COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test Distribution

Students and employees can get up to two FREE Covid-19 at-home rapid antigen testing kits per person, each week at the designated Antigen Test pick up location; Theatre & Music students can pick up 3 kits per student, per week. The Los Angeles Community College District African American Outreach Initiative program (LACCD-AAOI) proudly presents the 12th Annual Black Graduation Celebration on May 24 from 3-5 p.m. at the First AME Church of Los Angeles. COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

Come to our on-campus Vaccine Clinic to get your COVID-19 vaccine or booster dose! The clinics, which is held on Thurdays until June 30, offers the Pfizer (ages 12+), Moderna (ages 18+) and Pfizer Pediatric (ages 5-11) vaccines. Appointments are available and walks-up are welcomed. Announcements for Students

LA Valley College is proud to recognize our Class of 2022 graduates who will be attending four-year colleges and universities this Fall on our electronic marquees. Graduates, who are transferring to a college or university for Fall 2022, can request to share it on the marquee.

Did you know you're eligible for a FREE Metro GoPass? You can to ride all buses and trains operated by Metro from now until December 31, 2022...at no cost! To pick up your free pass, just stop by the LAVC Business Office with your picture ID. Learn more about the Metro GoPass.

LAVC Cooperative Education is offering up to four (4) CSU transferable elective units for your job, internship, or volunteer experience during Summer 2022. To participate, you do not have to be enrolled in another course (at LAVC or any other accredited institution). If you're interested, submit a completed Coop application in person or via email. The Child Development Center is looking for student workers for Summer and Fall 2022 to work Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm. For more information regarding qualifications for each position and to request an application, please visit the Child Development Center or email us.

LAVC Extended Opportunities Programs & Services (EOPS) is now accepting applications for new students! Eligible students receive helpful counseling, priority registration, funds to help pay for textbooks and more. For more information and the online application, visit EOPS. The deadline to apply is September 11.

The LACCD Board of Trustees has modified the District's vaccination policy and to rescind the indoor masking requirement. The following will go to effect on the dates noted below:

  • Effective May 5, 2022, students are not required to provide proof of vaccination or have an approve exemption to enroll in in-person classes or to access District or college facilities. Weekly COVID testing for students with vaccination exemptions is also no longer required.
  • Effective June 12, 2022, indoor masking will not be required for employees, students or visitors. Starting June 13, individuals may choose to wear a mask if they want to, and free masks will still be available on campus.

Get ready to celebrate LAVC's Class of 2022! LA Valley College will hold an in-person graduation ceremony on Tuesday, June 7 at 9 a.m. in Monarch Stadium. Tickets are required.
