Apply for Free Emergency Basic Needs Funding with Edquity

The LACCD is partnering with a company called Edquity to allow LAVC students to apply for emergency funding through one convenient online platform. Emergency funds can help you with childcare, food, housing, learning materials, transportation and other health/safety needs. To be eligible for these funds, you must submit an application through Edquity, and be actively enrolled in credit or noncredit courses. Don't Forget! Masks Still Required Indoors

As a reminder, Board Policy 2800 regarding mandatory indoor masking remains in force until further notice at all nine colleges and District facilities for all employees, students and visitors. Free, disposable surgical-style (medical) masks continue to be available at the entrance of every campus building. To read more, check the LACCD Vaccination, Testing and Screening Information.

March 14 is the Deadline to Upload Your Booster Proof to Cleared4

Keep your personal Cleared4 account up-to-date, including your immunization records when you receive a COVID-19 booster. Please upload your updated vaccine information by Monday, March 14, 2022. Find out how to upload proof to Cleared4. If you decide to not take the booster for medical or personal reasons, you must undergo weekly COVID-19 testing and receive a negative test result to continue attending your in-person or hybrid classes. The clinic offers the Pfizer (ages 12+), Moderna (ages 18+), Janssen (ages 18+), and Pfizer Pediatric (ages 5-11) vaccines. Only LAVC students and employees are eligible to receive a $150 Bookstore Gift Card with each on-campus vaccine or booster dose. Appointments are available and walks-up are welcomed.

It's Not Too Late! Apply Today for an LAVC Foundation Scholarship

The Valley College Foundation has over 250 Scholarships with over $160,000 available! The application deadline is Monday, March 21. To apply, log in to your LACCD Student Portal. Click on the “Scholarship Tile”, and then click on “Login Here” next to the Student Log In. Email the LAVC Foundation or call 818-947-2619 with questions.

Free COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test Kits on Campus

Students and employees can now get two FREE Covid-19 at-home rapid antigen testing kits per person each week; Theatre & Music students can pick up 3 kits per student, per week. To pick up your rapid antigen test kits, visit the ticket booth at the Music Recital Hall (view map) on Monday-Thursday from 8:45 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday from 8:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; please show your student ID or employee ID.
