Labor Day - Holiday
Monday, September 1
LAVC is closed on Monday, September 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Classes will start and the campus will reopen on Tuesday, September 2.
Fall 2025 - Day & Evening Classes Begin

Day and evening classes for the Fall 2025 Semester will begin on September 2. Check the mycollege.laccd.edu Student Portal for your class meeting time and location.

ASU Finance Committee
Tuesday, September 9 from 1-2 p.m. in the Skybox Conference Room (SU 215)
The ASU Finance Committee reviews and makes recommendations on budget requests submitted by student clubs and organizations. Students are welcome to attend Finance Committee meeting and see how funding decisions are made to support campus activities.
ASU Executive Council Meeting
Tuesday, September 9 from 2-5 p.m. in the Skybox Conference Room (SU 215)
Join the ASU Executive Council as we discuss student concerns, upcoming events, policies, and initiatives that impact the LAVC community. The Executive Council meeting is open to all students who want to learn more about ASU decision-making and leadership in action.
ASU Inter-Club Council Meeting
Thursday, September 11 from 1-3 p.m. in the Skybox Conference Room (SU 215)
The ICC Meeting brings together representatives from all chartered student clubs to collaborate, share updates, and plan upcoming activities. It’s a great way to connect with clubs across campus and stay engaged in student life.
Women’s Water Polo Tournament
Saturday, September 13 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Aquatics Center
The LAVC Women’s Water Polo will host an LAVC Mini Tournament with Bakersfield College, Crafton Hills College, Rio Hondo College, and East LA College. Come support the team and watch the Monarchs in action!
