Graduation, Diplomas, Certificates and Transfer
How to Apply for Graduation:
All students are strongly encouraged to meet with a counselor to complete their Petition to Graduate (ADT, AA/AS, Certificate, and/or IGETC/CSU-GE Certification).
If you are unable to schedule an appointment with a counselor to complete your Petition to Graduate, you may submit it online through your Student Information System (SIS)/Student Portal. However, submitting your Petition to Graduate without seeing a counselor may require additional time for a counselor to review your petition.
Please Note: If you are a part of any of the Special Programs below, visit your program for assistance in completing a Petition to Graduate.
Degrees and Certificates:
Los Angeles Valley College offers the following degrees and certificates:
Associate of Art/Science (AA/AS)
