The Play Conference

Join the LAVC Child Development Department for The Play Conference, a hands-on conference with workshops focusing on promoting Play in Early Childhood Education. Topics include Children’s Books & Play, Impact of Culture on Play, Floor-time & Play, Children Speak about Play, and Sensory Play.

Participants will receive a certificate for attendance. There will also be an opportunity drawing and a chance to win prizes!

Date & Time: Friday, April 12 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Schedule of Activities:

• Registration & Refreshments from 9:30-10:00 am
• Session 1: 10:00-10:45 am
• Session 2: 11:00-11:45 am
• Session 3: 12:00-12:45 pm
