Art is Good for You! Workshop: Sound Bath for Healing Energy

The LAVC Art Gallery is presenting "Art is Good for You! Workshop: Sound Bath for Healing Energy" on May 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the LAVC Art Gallery (view map).  

A sound bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience. It is an ancient sound-healing practice whereby the practitioner relaxes in a savasana position and allows the healing sounds of traditional musical performances to bathe over them. The music will be generated by singing bowls and gongs. In addition to relaxing the body and mind, a sound bath can balance the chakras by utilizing specific sound vibrations. 

What to bring: Yoga mat or beach towel, and your beautiful self with an open mind and heart.

This in-person event is offered as part of the Art Is Good For You! wellness + creativity workshop series, and is open to all current students, faculty and staff.
