CAP Open House - Spring 2023

LAVC's Associated Student Union (ASU), Dream Resource Center, and Career & Academic Pathways (CAPs) presents a Spring 2023 CAP Open House on March 27, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Monarch Hall (view map).

Join us for an engaging and inspiring event with two best-selling authors, Rafael Agustin and Sona Movsesian, who will share their stories and the pathways that led to their success. Attendees will leave this event inspired to pursue their passions while understanding how to overcome obstacles along the way. Lunch will be served. This in-person event is open to all current and prospective students, and college faculty and staff.

Rafael Agustin is the author of the comedic memoir, Illegally Yours. He serves as CEO of the Latino Film Institute (LFI), where he oversees the Youth Cinema Project, the annual Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF), and LatinX in Animation.

Sona Movsesian is the author of The World's Worst Assistant, a New York Times Best Seller, and has been the personal assistant of late-night talk show host Conan O'Brien since 2009.
