  • The program prepares students for an entry-level position in cybersecurity support functions. Students learn the essentials of information and cybersecurity, intrusion protection software, firewalls, and other software programs to protect important computer systems and information. Students will learn to: • Select, install, configure, maintain, and secure software and hardware. • Manage and secure cloud environments, such as public, private, or hybrid clouds.

Cybersecurity Support Technician

  • The program prepares the students to accept an entry level position in Network Support. Prepare students on how networks operate, including devices, media, and protocols that enable network communications. Prepare students in the fundamental conceptual building blocks of networks, such as TCP/IP model, OSI model, frames, packets, and IP addressing. Prepare students to identify common network devices, components, and accessories, end point devices, routers, switches, and access points. Prepare students to perform basic troubleshooting and demonstrate effective methodologies and help desk best practices.
