Certain eligibility requirements apply. Upon acceptance into the program, applicants must complete enrollment forms. Items needed if applicable:

  • Valid CA ID/License Social Security Card, or if not a US citizen, Right-to-Work documents

  • (Valid US Passport, or Alien Card); Selective Services (CPC/verify

  • Unemployment Insurance Documents (EDD)

  • Lay-off WARN Notice

  • Long-term unemployment of veterans

The Manufacturing Academy is funded by the City of Los Angeles Workforce Investment Board (WIB) via the WorkSource Centers of Southern California. Participants must meet criteria set by the City of LA WIB. The Manufacturing Academy is an LAVC Job Training Department sponsored program and is a not for credit class.

Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Fridays: 8:00AM - 3:30PM
Saturdays to Sundays: Closed
