The Office of Financial Aid at Los Angeles Valley College is open year round to assist with the application, processing and delivery of federal, state and other sources of aid. Explore your options by searching through the various links and watching videos provided by Financial Aid TV, reading about updates on our Facebook page and periodically checking the home page of this site.

You can access the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at any time just click here> FAFSA .  Along with filing a FAFSA, be sure to access the SIS system (www.laccd.edu) and select LAVC as your financial aid processing school today!

*Fall 2017 financial aid disbursements are scheduled to arrive on a weekly basis. Please  also be aware that file review and processing will continue until all students who are enrolled and eligible receive funding for the academic year.

What is financial aid?

Financial aid is meant to supplement your existing income/financial resources and should not be used as your sole means of income to support other non-educational related expenses.

In order to receive aid, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
