Don't Forget! Parking Permits are Required in All Campus Lots

Remember to display a valid parking permit! Student parking permits can be used in student parking areas, and employee parking permits are required to park in staff parking stalls. Spring 2018 student parking permits can be purchased for $20 at the Business Office, or daily parking permits can be purchased from a parking pay station on campus.

Don't Forget! Parking Permits are Required in All Campus Lots

Los Angeles Valley College reminds all students, faculty, staff and guests that starting on Monday, February 20 parking permits will be required in all campus lots. The college's two-week Spring 2018 parking permit grace period for student parking on campus ended on February 17.

Following the parking grace period, students and guests have two options for parking on campus:

  • Go to LAVC Business Office in Student Union 143 is open for extended hours to serve students who wish to purchase their parking permit or pay fees in person until February 23. Visit the Business Office's parking permit window to purchase a $20 Spring 2018 student parking permit for $20 (cash only), or pick up your parking permit purchased online through the LACCD Student Information System. The following are the LAVC Business Office's hours of operation:

    • From February 26-June 1, the Business Office's regular hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m.-3:45 and Tuesday from 8 a.m.-6:15 p.m.

  • Purchase $2 daily permits from campus parking pay stations in Lot A, B, D, E, G, and the Parking Structure. View campus map

Vehicles need to properly display a valid parking permit in on-campus parking areas. Vehicles parked in student lots will need to clearly display a valid Spring 2018 or daily parking permit clearly on the vehicle's rear-view mirror or on the dashboard.

Students are not permitted to park in staff parking stalls. Staff parking permits are required at all times in faculty/staff parking areas; vehicles parked in staff parking stalls without a valid staff parking permit will be ticketed.
