Introducing Luiza Minasyan, LAVC's Graphic Designer

LAVC Professional Development welcomes Luiza Minasyan as the college's new Graphic Designer.

Luiza joined the Professional Development team in December 2018, and will be assisting college departments and programs with graphic design projects, including designing the college catalog, updating the campus map, creating graphics for college web pages, and designing promotional materials and flyers. She will also be working on college-wide projects such as campus professional development activities as well as the college's planned website redesign and branding campaign.

She has more than 6 years of graphic design experience working in the private sector. Previously, she worked as a graphic designer for PlanetBids, a web-based eProcurement company that works with many public and private companies. While working as a freelance graphic designer, she designed one of LAVC's Armenian Heritage Celebration flyer as well as the 2014 Commencement program. She also did freelance graphic design projects for Tumbleweed Advertising, a full-service creative ad agency.

Luiza holds an associate's degree in liberal arts from LAVC, and a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in graphic design from California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

As an proud alumna of Valley College, Luiza is happy to be back on campus, and looks forward to working with everyone.

If you or your department has a graphic design request, please contact Luiza directly so that she can guide you through the process of requesting work from her in a meeting or through email.

Luiza is located in the Professional Development office in Library & Academic Resource Center (LARC) 200, and can be reached at (818) 778-7245 or by email.
