WELCOME to our official LGBTQ+ Resource Page! (We are the first in the Los Angeles Community College District to offer this resource page, and we invite other colleges to adapt this model. We would also like to extend an invitation to work with other LGBTQIA+/GSA college clubs or organizations. Please reach out to the advisors for any information and/or suggestions.)

Our mission at LAVC is to increase LGBTQIA+ visibility on campus and provide students with a safe space to not only to be who they are, but to be proud and thrive; thus we hand-picked a unique bouquet, a diverse collection of helpful, educational, inspirational, and empowering LGBTQ+ websites and links.

Here you will find various resources and answers to many of your questions (regardless of your sexuality or gender identity); from coming out, sexual health, sex education, LGBTQ+ scholarships, legal issues, current LGBTQ+ news as well as our LAVC library resources to the latest and greatest in LGBTQ+ Entertainment.
