The Los Angeles Community College District 's Board of Trustees made a significant Board Policy change about COVID-19 vaccine and testing requirements to access college and District facilities.

Baseline COVID-19 Testing Appointments for Students & Employees

Biocept is offering COVID-19 testing at LA Valley College for students and employees (by appointment only) on Mondays and Tuesdays in Engineering 100; check the . If you plan to access college or District facilities, you must have a baseline COVID-19 test by CLEARED4 by October 8, 2021. Schedule your appointment using your private Cleared4 account link that was send to your student email.

COVID-19 Vaccination Pop-Up Clinic

LAVC is partnering with Fulgent Genetics to hold on-campus COVID-19 Vaccination Pop-Up Clinics to give students, employees and the public to get the vaccine. All three vaccines options will be available. LAVC students and employees will receives a $150 gift card to the LAVC Bookstore for each vaccination recieved at the on-campus clinics. Please note: While testing is also available at this event, only tests administered by CLEARED4 will be accepted for the District's requirements.


Breast Cancer Awareness

Valley Community Healthcare will provide flu vaccines for students at NO COST on October 7th, 11th and 14th in the Student Health Center, which is located next to the Cafeteria in the Student Union, 1st Floor. Pre-registration is required. Register online to get your Flu Vaccine.

Monarch Cafe is Open

Enjoy the culinary offerings at the Monarch Cafe (Cafeteria) in the Student Union with its Breakfast, Grill, and Deli stations open. You are strongly encouraged to skip the lines by ordering online through its contactless ordering system. Please be aware that face masks are required indoors, when not eating, and you should follow the current LAVC COVID-19 safety requirements. The Monarch Cafe is on Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Student Union (SU) Building.
