Grace Period for District's Vaccination & Testing Requirement

Effective October 15, 2021, the District is providing a grace period for compliance with the vaccine mandate, Board Policy 2900:

  • Students have until 5 p.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 to provide proof of vaccination or submit an exemption, and complete a baseline test. This grace period allows you to create and complete your Cleared4 account, upload your proof of CDC or WHO-compliant vaccination, provide all other required information, and schedule your initial onboarding COVID-19 test.

  • If you are not vaccinated yet, get your one dose or first dose of a two-dose sequence immediately and upload your proof of vaccination to your Cleared4 account. Come to one of the LAVC Vaccination Clinics (walk-up or make an appointment) and get a $150 Bookstore Gift Card incentive with your on-campus dose. Learn how to create your Cleared4 acccount.

  • To submit an exemption request, please upload the exemption request form to the Student Portal by the new November 19 deadline. Learn how to submit a COVID-19 Vaccination Exemption.
