Calling All Filmmakers! Be a Part of the LAVC Anti-Racism Film Project

We’re looking for 1-2 page anti-racism themed scripts for a 30-second to 2-minute long film we will showcase this fall. Five scripts will be selected to use an LAVC Digital Cinema Kit! LAVC Sheriff Station Now Hiring Cadet Student Workers

LAVC Sheriff Station is now hiring cadet student workers. Start your career with us! Job duties include patrol, dispatching, and parking enforcement. The campus is closed for the Memorial Day holiday on May 31, 2021. Campus offices and services will reopen on June 1, 2021.


Free Wi-Fi Access for Students in Parking Lot F

Until June 6 from 5 a.m.-10 p.m.
Parking Lot F

Free wi-fi is available in Parking Lot F for you to do your online coursework. Parking Lot F is open Monday-Sunday from 5 a.m.-10 p.m. during the Spring semester. While on campus, you will need to stay in your vehicle, wear a mask, practice physical distancing, and follow all LAVC/LA County Health protocols. Unfortunately, restrooms are not available and there is no access for recharging devices. Learn more about Free Wi-Fi on Campus.


Spring 2021 Final Examinations

Tuesday, June 1-Monday, June 7

LAVC Spring Semester 2021 final examinations will take place from June 1-7, 2021. Students should check their course syllabus for the specific date and time for the final examination.

Come to the Family Fest COVID Vaccination and Health Fair on Saturday, June 26 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at LA Valley College to get your COVID-19 Vaccination, free haircuts and free health screenings. Walk-ups are welcome.  No appointment needed / no health insurance.
