Need Laptop or Technology for School?

Emergency Student Aid grants are available to LAVC students with identified financial needs that compromise their ability to continue their studies or successfully engage in their classes. To qualify: You must have LAVC as your home campus, be enrolled in 6 units or more, and demonstrate financial need. Apply today for a Laptops/Tablet, Technology & Basic Needs Grant!

Federal Help for Internet Costs to College Students

Emergency Broadband Benefit Program by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will provide up to $50 per month for Internet services to qualified households and to college students who received a federal Pell Grant during the current award year. More information is available at the FCC.​

Time is Running Out—Vote for LAVC in the Daily News Readers’ Choice

The Apple Awards are a student-run awards process coordinated by Tau Alpha Epsilon (TAE) honors club that allows students to show their appreciation of LAVC faculty. The awards are given in five categories – show your instructor how much they matter – nominate them now!

TRiO Application Deadline has been Extended!

The TRiO Program can assist you and give you additional support with one-on-one counseling, tutoring and workshops to help you succeed in your academic career. This event is part of a lecture and workshop series for LAVC Special Programs led by three nationally recognized artists. Last Day to Drop Classes with a “W” for Spring Semester 2021

The last day to drop classes with a "W" (online only) for Spring Semester 2021 using the LACCD Student Portal is May 9, 2021. A letter grade is required from this date forward.
