$50 per Month for Internet Service with Emergency Broadband Benefit—Apply TODAY!

The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Emergency Broadband Benefit Program will provide up to $50 per month for Internet services to college students who received a federal Pell Grant. Go to the FCC website for more information today.‚Äč

Submit Your Artwork for the ASU Arts Festival by May 27

The Associated Student Union (ASU) is accepting art submissions for the Fine Arts Festival. Sign-up for a 10-minute slot at asuart@lavc.edu. All creative disciplines are welcome. Showcase is on May 27th.

2021 Virtual Black Graduation

Join the LACCD’s African American Outreach Initiative (AAOI) Program for a cultural celebration of students graduates in the nine LACCD colleges. After the ceremony, there will be afterparty with Damien Danielly (of LASC) and DJ Severe, where the winners of the Chris Musella Scholarship will be announced. Join the LACCD 2021 Black Graduation Celebration (BGC) at 3 p.m. and the BGC After Party immediately after the ceremony.

Memorial Day Holiday (Campus Closed)

Wednesday, May 31

The campus is closed for the Memorial Day holiday on May 31, 2021. Campus offices and services will reopen on June 1, 2021.

Spring 2021 Final Examinations

Tuesday, June 1-Monday, June 7

LAVC Spring Semester 2021 final examinations will take place from June 1-7, 2021. Students should check their course syllabus for the specific date and time for the final examination.

Virtual Graduation Ceremony 2021

Tuesday, June 8 at 9 a.m.

Celebrate the Class of 2021 at the LAVC Virtual Graduation Ceremony on June 8 on YouTube and Facebook. Log into the LAVC Facebook Page or YouTube Channel at 8:45 a.m. to view the ceremony.
