Open Seats Available in Spring Late Start Classes

Take an extra class this semester! Enroll now in an 8-week late-start class beginning on April 12. Check the Spring 2021 Late-Start Open Classes List and enroll on the LACCD Student Portal.

Deadline Extended for LAVC Foundation Scholarships Submissions

The date to apply for LAVC Foundation Scholarships has been extended to March 26. Visit LAVC Foundation Scholarships to click the “Apply for Scholarships” button, and simply answer a few questions about yourself and your academics. Scholarships range from $250 to as much as $3,000 each. Check the Foundation Scholarship List for the complete listing.

The TRiO Program can assist you and give you additional support with one-on-one counseling, tutoring and workshops to help you succeed in your academic career. “Art is Good for You!” Keynote Lecture with Io Palmer

This event is part of a lecture and workshop series for LAVC Special Programs led by three nationally recognized artists. How to Manage Anxiety Workshop

This Student Health Center workshop will focus on introducing anxiety, when to get help, and a review of exercises on how to manage symptoms of anxiety. Register by emailing Alisson Lopez with the subject line: “How to Manage Anxiety”. A link will be emailed to all registered participants.

Free Wi-Fi Access for Students in Parking Lot F

Get free wi-fi access in Parking Lot F to do your coursework on Monday-Sunday from 5 a.m.-10 p.m. While on campus, will need to stay in your vehicle, wear a mask, practice physical distancing, and follow all LAVC/LA County Health protocols. Also, restrooms are not available and there is no access for recharging devices. Learn more about Free Wi-Fi on Campus.
