Student Health Center Resources

These are stressful times and you may need to talk to someone. The Student Health Center has Mental Health professionals available by phone and video to help you through these difficult times. Contact LAVC’s provider (Valley Community Healthcare) and speak directly with a Case Manager, Cristina Sierra at (818) 763-8836 x1240.

LAVC Foundation Scholarships Now Available

Apply now for LAVC Foundation Scholarships! Scholarships range from $250 to as much as $2,000 each! Go to LAVC Foundation Scholarship Application and answer a series of questions about yourself and your academics. For more information, view the Foundation Scholarship List and the Scholarship FAQs.

Laptops & Technology Grants are Available

LAVC will provide grants to students with identified financial needs that compromise their ability to continue their studies or successfully engage in their classes. Learn how to apply for Laptops/Tablet, Technology & Basic Needs Grants

Need extra support to help you achieve your goals? TRiO now accepting applications

The TRiO Program can assist you and give you additional support with one on one counseling, tutoring and workshops to help you succeed in your academic career. We are currently accepting applications until April 30, 2021. For more information, contact TRiO and visit us at TRiO Student Support Services and apply online.

Free Wi-Fi Access in Parking Lot F

Get free wi-fi access in Parking Lot F to do your coursework on Monday-Sunday from 5 a.m.-10 p.m. While on campus, will need to stay in your vehicle, wear a mask, practice physical distancing, and follow all LAVC/LA County Health protocols. Also, restrooms are not available and there is no access for recharging devices. Learn more about Free Wi-Fi on Campus.
