Fall 2020 Finals Examinations

Monday, December 14 - Thursday, December 17

Final Examinations at LA Valley College takes places from December 14-17. Classes will meet online on the date and time noted on the LAVC Fall 2020 Final Examination Schedule (PDF).

LAVC Winter Break

Monday, December 21, 2020 - Sunday, January 3, 2021

Winter Break at LAVC begins on December 21. The campus is closed for virtual/online services on December 24, 25, 30 and 31, 2020 and January 1, 2021. The college will reopen and Winter Session classes begin on January 4, 2021.

Winter/Spring 2021 Community Services Open Registration

Starting December 21, 2020

The Winter/Spring 2021 Community Services class schedule of online classes for adults and kids is now available. Open registration begins December 14 (phone) and December 21 (online). Register early and save with our Early Bird Discounts through January 15, 2021. Community Services classes begin in January 2021. For more information, visit the LAVC Community Services website.

Virtual Art Exhibition – MMXX: Art Faculty Biennial

The LAVC Art Gallery proudly presents MMXX: Art Faculty Biennial Exhibition, a virtual exhibit of works created by LAVC Art Faculty Carol Bishop, Jamison Carter, Phung Huynh, Jenene Nagy, and Katie Queen. The gallery will also produce a catalogue designed by Professor Tom Mossman. This exhibition and catalogue are funded in part through the generosity of the June Harwood Grant.

Annual Art Student Exhibition - LAUNCH20

Until December 30

The LAVC Art Gallery proudly presents an annual exhibition of student works produced in the LAVC Art Department. This year’s online LAUNCH20 exhibit includes 72 works selected from 40 student artists featuring a wide range of media and techniques.
