What is an Associate Degree for Transfer (AD-T)?

Submit Your Writing for LAVC’s Spring 2021 Student Writing Conference

The LAVC Humanities and Communication CAP invites you to share your writing at the Spring 2021 Student Writing Conference: “Finding Our Humanity in the Time of Pandemic.” Student writing must directly address issues related to COVID; however, all topics will be accepted in the following genres: Critical/Argumentative Essays, Research Essays, Narrative Essays, Short Stories, and Poetry. Submit your Spring 2021 Writing Conference application with your attached writing no later than April 19, 2021. Register in advance for the virtual conference on May 17 from 1-3 p.m.

Free Wi-Fi Access for Students in Parking Lot F

Until June 6 from 5 a.m.-10 p.m.
Parking Lot F

Get free wi-fi access in Parking Lot F to do your coursework on Monday-Sunday from 5 a.m.-10 p.m. While on campus, will need to stay in your vehicle, wear a mask, practice physical distancing, and follow all LAVC/LA County Health protocols. Also, restrooms are not available and there is no access for recharging devices. Learn more about Free Wi-Fi on Campus.

”Art is Good for You!” Drawing Workshop

Take a break from your daily routine to create art! Join the LAVC Art Gallery for a drawing workshop led by artist Io Palmer. This event is part of a lecture and workshop series for LAVC Special Programs led by three nationally recognized artists.
