Strength Finders Workshop for Classified Staff

The LAVC Professional Development Office is holding a "Strength Finders Workshop" for classified staff on Friday, January 18 starting at 8:30 a.m. in Monarch Hall located in the Campus Center building.

This half-day professional workshop for LAVC classified staff will focus on learning about their own strengths, and how to best use them in work and life. Classified staff are first asked to take the online "Strengths Finders Inventory", which will help identify the employee's top five strengths before the Classified Staff Professional Development Day workshop. Lunch will be provided.

The Inventory will be available online to classified staff members during November and December 2018; the deadline to take the online Inventory is Friday, January 11, 2019. Classified staff should check their campus email for instructions on how to log in to take the Inventory.

Need a computer to complete the inventory? The computer lab in the Professional Development Center is reserved every Monday and Friday for any classified staff needing to take the Inventory. Drop by anytime before the January 11th deadline!
