UPCOMING BRIDGE PROGRAM
- Need to know how to be a better student in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)?
LAVC’s STEM Program will be holding a Summer Math and Engineering Bridge from June 21-July 1. Target audience are those interested in STEM majors.
In the Math Program: You will be in specific groups based on your matriculation assessment test. You will be involved in targeted workshops to determine if your assessment test was accurate. Figure out how to excel at the placement test, learn key math skills, review for the assessment test. At the end of the two weeks, you will take the matriculation assessment test again—and that second assessment will count.
In the Engineering Program: You will be in specific groups and be involved in targeted workshops for Life Science Majors, for Physical Science Majors, for Engineering and Mathematics Majors.
Have fun and learn! Register today!
Please go to Math/Science 107 at 10:00 a.m. for information or visit our Summer Workshops page to download materials. If you're attending only the engineering section, go to Engineering 107 at 1:00 p.m.
