The Los Angeles Valley College Reading Center is a literacy, communications and academic skills laboratory in the Department of Psychology's Developmental Communications program. The Reading Center is located on the second floor of the Library and Academic Resource Center in LARC 220.

Developmental Communications 22A-E: Communications Laboratory
- No prerequisite
- Pass/No Pass basis only
- Open entry/open exit
- 18 hours in the lab per unit required
Developmental Communications 22A-E are modular, multimedia programs in phonics and spelling, vocabulary, reading skills, and study skills. Students may enroll sequentially in up to three units per semester. In each program, students work at their own time and pace.
