FALL HOURS

Drop-in hours: Mon.-Thurs. 7:30 am to 10 pm, Fri. 7:30 am to 3 pm
Use our computers, scanners, Scantron machine, and laminator

Staffed hours: Mon.-Thurs. 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

  • Request a one-on-one tutorial on computer use, Microsoft programs, or teaching strategies
  • Pick up useful handouts on teaching strategies, check out training videos, laser pointers, flip cameras, books, and other materials; see our shelf of free books for faculty

CalPERS Retirement Workshop -- Friday, January 20 -- SSC 245 -- RSVP by Jan. 6

Mini-Tech Fest -- Thurs., Feb. 2 and Fri. Feb. 3 -- RSVPs required for all-day Canvas training session and those who want lunch on Thursday

CollegeBuys -- incredible discounts on software for faculty, staff, and students. 

The California Community Colleges Professional Learning Network is up and running! It’s a comprehensive Professional Development site to access effective teaching practices, video training sessions, and other resources. You can also search for events and conferences of interest to educators. All California Community College employees (faculty, staff, and administrators) are eligible to access its library of training videos from Grovo and Lynda.com. You can keep track of the ones you’ve taken on a personalized “MyPD Plan” page so you have a record you can use for flex credit. All you need to do is register: https://prolearningnetwork.cccco.edu/ 

Sidekick (Tools That Inspire) Resources from the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office (3C Media Solutions, @One, The Alternative Text Production Center, Distance Education Captioning and Transcription, CCC Confer, The High Tech Center Training Unit on the use of technology for students with disabilities).

We offer the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) test and practice tests/training.
