The LAVC Historical Museum will be temporarily unavailable for visitors while the college performs an assessment and evaluation of its collection and operations. We invite friends once again to visit the Historical Museum when it re-opens.

Background: The Los Angeles Valley College Historical Museum was founded in 1975 by Dr. James Dodson. The mission of the Museum is to collect, preserve, and promote historical artifacts as it relates to the history of the San Fernando Valley. It also serves as a repository for Los Angeles Valley College historical collections.
