Why
travel and study abroad ? To enrich your education. develop your
self-awareness, understand another culture and, in the process, make new
friends. In the summer of 2011, LA Valley College is offering an unforgettable French immersion experience in Montpellier, south of France. This month-long study abroad program combines French language and civilization classes, lodging in either campus housing, studio apartment or with a French family, a full schedule of tours and activities, weekend travel excursions, and plenty of time to explore the region on your own and with new friends from around the world. Excursion costs are included in the program fee along with a month-long public transit pass to ensure you get the most out of your Mediterranean college experience.
Take advantage of this opportunity to develop fluency, earn up to 8 units of transferable credit, and discover one of Europe’s most beautiful and historic regions! Space in the program is limited, so reserve your spot by clicking on "Program Documents" in the left margin and completing the application form. Submit the completed application, with a $450 deposit, 4 2x2 passport photos and the information page of your valid passport to Prof. Dominique Merrill in FL 105 by March 1, 2011. The final payment deadline is May 6, 2011.
