IDEAS Program
IDEAS, the Institute for Developing Entertainment Arts & Studies, is an Economic and Workforce Development Grant and one of six Regional Center in the State in the Multimedia & Entertainment Initiative. The Director of IDEAS is LAVC Media Arts faculty member Prof. Richard Holdredge.
IDEAS offers workshops in digital media tools and other industry topics to working professionals in the entertainment industry and educators. It aslo serves as a testing ground for new curriculum.
Some IDEAS workshops are available to Media Arts students at Valley College and other schools. Take a look at the IDEAS website at www.lavc.edu/ideas.
