Robert Ballew
Robert Ballew is an adjunct professor who teaches the directing and acting classes. He is a Renaissance man who has worked in the television and film industry for more than 35 years. He earned his bachelors and masters degrees in at CSULA and USC. At USC he studied under a track scholarship. His professional hats include producing, directing, acting and camera. He has traveled extensively in his work at ABC television, but continued to stay in touch with young people mentoring many interns who now are working in the business.
He has been recognized with eighteen Emmys both local and national (three for best videographer of the year), two golden mike awards for feature and breaking news, two LA Press awards and the prestigious Associated Press Award for the best feature story. Roberts hold memberships in AFT, DGA, AFTRA, SAG, ATAS, IATSE and NABET.
