Chatsworth - -Nineteen Roberts Tool Company employees have earned a certificate of completion for 30 hours of blueprint and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) training. The Chatsworth-based aerospace company teamed with Job Training to provide the five-week program through funding provided by the State of California’s Employment Training Panel (ETP).
At the graduation ceremony, Steve Smuck ( vice-president of engineering) congratulated his employees for their dedication to the program. He also stressed the need to use their newly acquired language (blueprint reading) every day to improve their skills while reminding them a graduation is not the end but the beginning of something new. "That's why it's called a “commencement,” he declared, urging the group to continue their professional development.
Thanks went to LAVC instructor Jim Ridosh for a great job done with the Roberts’ group.
