Valley Glen - - A recent series of four workshops geared toward local employers reached a successful conclusion Monday afternoon. Partnering with the City of Burbank’s Team Business, Job Training presented the business development classes as part of an ongoing series of free training classes to help local employers.
Ranging over a one month period, topics included Effective Decision Making, Creative Problem Solving, Providing Excellent Customer Service, and Motivating Employees.
Susie Avetisyan, an Economic Development representative for Burbank, praised the relationship saying, “The City of Burbank has enjoyed our partnership with LAVC as a valuable asset in educating the local business community.”
Commenting on the training, Job Training Director Lennie Ciufo said, “We’re glad to be able to contribute to both the goals of Burbank and the local business community. From the continuous feedback we’ve received, the programs have made a very positive impact on those who have joined us.”
This marks the second consecutive year Job Training has teamed with the City of Burbank, providing these workshops as part of a wide range of offerings provided by the Business Success Academy, a division of Job Training.
