Superior
Super Warehouse Graduates 23 New Employees
June
30, 2004 -- With a host of luminaries looking
on, Superior Super Warehouse awarded certificates to 23 proud individuals,
graduates of their most recent customer service/cashier training class.
Taught by Los Angeles Valley College Job Training,
the
new graduates will begin work at one of several stores in the West Covina
area.
The
ceremony, held at the East San Gabriel Valley ROP, was attended by numerous
members of Superior management,
including President and CEO Mimi Song, District Manager Fee Pinedo,
and Human Resource Supervisor Eunice Min. Also on hand were representatives
from LA Works: Employment Training Specialist Dina Parks and Client
Services Manager Jorge Hernandez. Job Training teamed with LA Works
and the East San Gabriel Valley ROP to meet the needs of Superior in
the West Covina area.
Job
Training and Superior Super Warehouse have built a close bond during
the past three years, having recruited, screened, and trained recruits
for ten of their stores. The two organizations have plans to continue
their partnership as plans proceed to open three more markets in the
greater Los Angeles area in the coming year.
