LAVC Wireless Network

LAVC WiFiWe are pleased to announce several changes to the LAVC Wireless Network. Due to feedback we are simplifying the wireless network names. We are also in the process of deploying 100 additional access points across the college. This rework will endeavor to make connecting onto the college’s wireless networks easier and more intuitive.

LA Valley College has deployed wireless connectivity on campus since 2003. The Wireless Network is designed for coverage of instructional and non-instructional spaces around campus. The network is advertised as an as-is resource and there is no guarantee of availability. Below is a listing of the two wireless networks available to faculty, staff and students for internet only access from personally owned devices. Both networks below are also not to be used for secure or confidential transactions. Faculty & Staff who are using college owned computers have access to a secure college network for which the computer is preconfigured to connect to.
