LAVC Student Wifi and Campus Computer Access

IMPORTANT

All LAVC student Wifi and Lab accounts are automatically generated for students at the beginning of each semester and deleted at the end of the semester. Only current students have LAVC student Wifi and Lab accounts.

If you register for a class after the beginning of the semester your Wifi and Lab account will be created within two days of class registration.



HOW TO FIND YOUR WIFI/LAB 
USER NAME AND PASSWORD

Option 1

Log into your Registration Portal

Your new email address and username will be on the front page. If you are on campus and do not have access to a computer, you can visit one of our Library OPAC stations.

 

Option 2

Check your personal email address, the username was emailed to you

PASSWORD

Your password is your 4 digit pin (by default this is your MMDD of your birthday)

I FORGOT MY PIN!

If you don't know your pin and you have yet to change it from the default, it is the month and date of your birth in a MMDD format. If you have previously changed your pin and don't remember it, you can contact the Admissions and Records Officeand they will help you recover it.


HOW DO I LOG INTO 
THE CAMPUS WIFI?

In your laptop click the WiFi icon to view a list of available wireless networks. Select “LAVC-Student&Guests".

When you open a browser window you will be presented with a log in screen. Use your User Name and Password to gain access to WiFi.

HOW DO I LOG INTO
A LAB COMPUTER?

 

 

To log into a lab computer, use your network username and password. If you don't know your User Name and Password review the how to find your user name and password instructions

 

Review the Computer Use Policy.

 

NOTE: Anything saved in the lab computer will be deleted when the computer is shut down.
