Students interested in CARE should complete a CARE Interest Card in the EOPS/CARE Office.
Successful CARE Students!
CARE student Lorena earned her Associates degree in Child Development and is transferring to Cal State Northridge. “I am a single mother that has faced many obstacles in life; one of them being that I am from a foreign country. It is not easy to find friends who are able and willing to help. I feel fortunate to be a part of the EOPS/CARE family.”
CARE student Beatriz completed the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and is currently completing the prerequisites for the nursing program. As a single mother of two, she states, “The EOPS/CARE program opened their doors to me. But I could not have done it alone without the help of this wonderful program that did not only open up their arms and doors to me, but empowered me with all the tools I need to succeed in the future.” Pictured with EOPS counselors Angie Baca and Anaid Mushegyan.
CARE student Yvette transferred to University of LaVerne to major in Child Development. Mother of two children, she believes, “EOPS has been a blessing in my life. I truly feel as if the staff has taken me under their wing and is preparing me for the upcoming flight.”
