2007-2008 Educational Master Plan Project
On February 1, 2008 the campus held an Educational Master Plan kick-off to mark the start of an intensive period of work to complete a new Education Master Plan. To see the kick-off presentation, click here. The process was divided into three phases:
Phase I: reponse to Chancellor's Request
Phase II: completing the Educational Master Plan
Phase III: plan for implementation
Interviews were conducted with more than 100 members of the campus community during March and April. Presentations on Phase I (part 1 and part 2) have been made and a final report on Phase I was made to the District Planning Committee on May 28, 2008.
A Working Retreat was held on May 9th to work on preliminary documents presented by STRATUS. The Educational Master Plan was approved by the Academic Senate on June 19th and by the College Council and College President on June 24, 2008. Starting in summer 2008, the EMP committee will be working with STRATUS on Phase III (the implementation plan).
