Welcome
On behalf of the entire LAVC College Diversity Committee (CDC) and Compliance Office (CO) I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our web page and extend our
services. The CDC & CO are committed to our mission of enhancing diversity awareness on campus and providing advocacy for students, staff, faculty and administrators in their quest for equity, scholarship and community here at Valley. Student grievances, discrimination, harassment, employee assistance, fair employee recruitment and ADA compliance are extremely important areas of oversight at the college and it is our policy to deal with these in the most thorough and confidential manner possible. We are governed by strict policies from our district, the state and the federal government and it is our intention to adhere to the highest codes of integrity and equity. If there is anything we can do to help or if you are not sure, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank You,
Dr. Walter C. Jones, Compliance Officer (Acting)/CDC Chair
