Learning Skills
The following courses are open to all students enrolled in Los Angeles Community Colleges (please click here for schedule). For Fall 2011 Learning Skills credit classes please refer to pages 85-86.
1 Reading – Not Degree Applicable-NDA, Repeat (RPT) 3
Students receive group and individualized instruction in reading comprehension skills to the level at which they will be able to succeed in college/vocational coursework. Credit/No Credit
2 English Fundamentals – Not Degree Applicable-NDA, Repeat (RPT) 3
Students receive group and individualized instruction with emphasis on grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. Students learn English skills to the level at which they will be able to succeed in college/vocational coursework. Credit/No Credit
10 Mathematics Fundamentals – Not Degree Applicable-NDA, Repeat (RPT) 3
Students receive group and individualized instruction in math fundamentals so that they can succeed in college/vocational coursework. Credit/No Credit
