Do you want to speak at Commencement?
Why is it important to protect and conserve our planet's natural resources? How has Los Angeles Valley College shaped your global awareness and consciouness of conservation of resources? Step by step.
Auditions for student speakers will be: Date: Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Do you have a unique story? Do you have a unique story about your background, college experience, or the struggles that you overcame to graduate from LAVC that you would be willing to share with the media? For example, are you a parent with unique circumstances, are you graduating with your spouse, sibling, or children, or have you overcome huge personal obstacles to be able to graduate?
The Los Angeles Times and Daily News would like to feature a LAVC graduate who has an interesting story to tell. If you would like to share your story, please email Jennifer Fong-Borucki at fongjc@lavc.edu with a brief summary. Deadline is Friday, May 18th.
