Rose Drmandjian is an LAVC alumnus. After graduating from Los Angeles Valley College with an A.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences, she transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she earned her B.A. in Sociology. She earned her M.A. degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling, Early Childhood Education from California State University Northridge (CSUN). Rose started her career in early childhood education as an undergraduate work-study student assistant at the University Village Early Childhood Education Center at UCLA. She has spent the last 11 years working in various capacities with 0 to 6-year-olds and their families. She began teaching at LAVC during 2016 through the Project MATCH internship. She is passionate about raising the quality of care offered in early childhood programs, and hopes to influence adult learners in their practice with young children.
