     A graduate of Pacific Oaks College (with a degree in Human Development that focused on infant studies and teacher training), Mary Lopez began working at the Los Angeles Valley College Child Development Center as a Lead Teacher. Additionally, she has been a consultant for Head Start and Program Director at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center, Emergency Drop-In Child Care Centers. Currently, as an Associate Professor in the Child Development Department, her interests focus on curriculum planning and implementation, specifically in the areas of creative activities such as art and music.
